Saturday

Today I slept late. I have been getting more sleep than ever before in my adult life. I know many of my friends are young Moms; I don’t mean to rub it in, but especially because I don’t feel great, it is nice to have the luxury of sleeping late.

We walked up to KyivStar to check on my internet access bc I got some funny message on my computer from them. They were closed. I guess I’ll keep using it and see if I have any trouble.

Then we went to the German National House restaurant. We sat outside. One of the waiters spoke some English. I had a kava Americano (big coffee) and it did not have any sugar in it. I had cherry pancakes and Jeff had this chocolate concoction. We read our books. It was a little chilly. Here, people still sit outside, bc the restaurants provide wool blankets.

It is raining here a lot.

That evening we went to Reflection for dinner, where I enjoyed my Exotic Salad.

See? Very few salads have lettuce here.

 Braids are big here.

We are going through the list of things we want to do one more time before we leave and Reflection was on it. It rained again tonight. The people at Reflection have come to know us, and it is always nice to be greeted by familiar faces.
