The gym is awesome. It is small, but it has an elliptical machine, 2 treadmills, 1 multipurpose machine, and some weights and mirrors. I am so, so, so excited to have a gym.
Today was relatively uneventful. After the gym we went to the market wih Andriy and bought some more varenyky and FINALLY found some pepper. I cooked tonight, Andriy and Veronika came up tonight to help us make some train/plane plans for when AGG gets here, and then I prepped for class tomorrow. Here is what I cooked:
Before I went to sleep, however, I decided that since we were going to be in Kyiv the Wednesday that Anne Genevieve leaves, we would take advantage and fly somewhere that would be a bit more difficult to get to from Chernivtsi. So, I decided to go to Istanbul for about 5 days! I am SO EXCITED. I’ve never been to Turkey and never been to Asia. I’ve heard awesome things about Turkey from Diane Vecchio, my colleague Cengiz, and several other Fulbrighters. I'm really, really looking forward to AGG's visit and also looking forward to Istanbul!!
