Pics from Day 2 in Chernivtsi

My first full day in Chernivtsi was SUNNY! Yay!

From Vul Ivan Franko you can see the snowy Carpathian mountains in the distance.

People here are constantly shoveling outside and mopping inside bc the floors get so dirty from the snow that melts off everyone's boots. Consequently, all the floors I've seen are really clean!

Lots of women wear fur here. I've never seen so many long mink coats! Here is one store on Vul Koblyianski.

Other sites on Vul Koblyianski...I have to pass this street to get to the building where my classes are.

The Orthodox (women have to keep our heads covered) Cathedral of the Holy Spirit.

Pretty buildings in Chernivtsi...

A cafe on Vul Olgy Koblyianska

Below is the old Armenian Church. Now it is used for concerts. Hoping to go to at least one!

Today, I experienced my first fall. No injuries...pretty minor. I'm sure there will be more, unfortunately.
