Tuesday

Working out yesterday was not a good idea.

Today we walked to the Post Office and got stuck in the daily rain shower. Big rain shower today, and I did not have my rain coat. Jeff insisted I take his, and he became drenched. We took cover under an awning, where we huddled for about 15 minutes hoping it would stop. About 10 minutes in we met a young woman who approached us to introduce herself. She was beyond thrilled to meet English speakers.

We finally made it to the Post Office and then of course once we were inside it stopped raining. Then we walked over to Olga Koblyianska, and on the way I stopped into this little stolovy/cafeteria to get a piece of this warm, cheesy thing that looks a little like cornbread. It is good. We had coffee on Olga Koblyianska and stopped at the market on Olgato buy bread. Jeff loves having fresh bread and has been spoiled by the fact that he can walk to the local market and buy it. You can't see it, but the fresh bread that is unpackaged is behind him. This packaged bread is new and has only started appearing since the weather got better. I've noticed that there are more food options since the weather has improved; I guess the food people can deliver more easily.

Tonight I cooked pesto penne, and then created my final exam for my final class tomorrow morning. Can’t believe my last day of class is tomorrow!

Your last day of class will be bittersweet. I know you have made some wonderful friends that you will miss. However, you are one day closer to coming home.
